“Outside of a dog, a book is a man’s best friend. Inside of a dog, it’s too dark to read.”  Groucho Marx

But libraries are about so much more than books. Once inside you can: learn, sing, sign, sing and sign, bounce your baby, meet people, watch films, listen to stories, meditate, use the internet, find out stuff and even read actual books. How very retro.

Libraries are in serious danger of closure so take your kids, your neighbour, your nan, your neighbour’s nan and get to yours quick. Use it or lose it.

“The more you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.”
Dr. Seuss, “I Can Read With My Eyes Shut!”
